HOTEL BERÁNEK *** (Prague)
The hotel is located in downtown Prague, an approximately five minute walk from famed Wenceslas Square. In front of the hotel are metro and tram stops with connections to outlying areas. All rooms are equipped with free high speed Internet/WiFi, air-conditioning, television, SAT, telephone, hairdryer, refrigerator and safe.

Transportation

You are responsible for making your own arrangements to and from the Czech Republic. In this way you may be able to build more flexibility into your travel plans, arriving earlier or staying later after the dance week, as well as take advantage of more favorable rates through your own travel agent or through the Internet.

While in Prague, we will use mostly public transportation. It is easy, clean, safe, and convenient. The tram and metro train stops are just few hundred yards from the hotel. For traveling outside of Prague we will use a comfortable and air-conditioned coach.

Arrival

For those of you arriving at the Prague airport, we recommend "Taxi" (yellow cab). You will find it just in front of the arrival terminal. We recommend that you not use any other companies. You should not pay more than CZK 600 ($32 or €26) for a group of 1 - 3 people.

If you would prefer to use public transportation, take bus # 119 to the last stop, Nádraží Veleslavín (line A - green). Here you will transfer to the metro and go to the Náměstí Míru station. From here walk about two minutes down the hill to the hotel. Buy your ticket at the desk in the airport and stamp your ticket in the machine as you enter the bus. You will need just one ticket for 32 CZK ($1.70) for the entire trip. If you need help, just ask on the street. Young people in particular speak English and are happy to help. Good luck!

We recommend you to watch short video tips about the Prague publick transport, meals, exchange offices and other usefull things.

In the hotel you can occupy your room starting at 2:00 PM. Just give your name at the reception desk and you will be accommodated according to our rooming list.
If you arrive early, you can leave your bags at the hotel while you explore the city.

The Dvorana registration will be open in the hotel lobby (Saturday July 1st) from 5:00 PM.

A month prior to the start of the dance week all participants will receive a letter with further details, including the mobile phone number to call in case of unexpected incidents during your travel to Prague.

Meals

Breakfast and one warm meal a day are included in the price. Usually it is dinner, occasionally lunch. One free drink is inlcuded (water, soft drinks, beer, wine). Vegetarian meals can be arranged on request (see the registration form).
